Here’s detailed info on the positions we need:

† Translators †

ｮ Japanese || Chinese || Korean (optional) ｮ

Checklist: 

✓To be able to translate all the text in the raws given to them to english in a word document.

✓ Doesn’t need to be experienced in translating.

✓ Knowledgeable in both english and the native language.

✓ For japanese raws, we will most probably be using raws with lots of furigana, which will be easier for the translators, but do keep in mind that in the future, there might also be raws made up of basically kanji, so please be knowledgeable in both, if possible 🙂

† Proofreaders †

Checklist:

✓ Be fluent in english

✓ Checks the grammars, spelling (basically, mistakes) of the finished product the translators finished.

† Cleaners †

Checklist: 

✓ Has experience or basic knowledge with editing softwares. (photoshop or gimp)

✓ Removes the original text or SFX’s on the Raws provided

✓ Must know how to redraw.

✓ Submits finished products as a .zip or .rar file with the files as .psd.

✓ Pictures must have 1200 px height with a rather flexible width.

† Typesetters †

Checklist:

✓ Has experience or basic knowledge with editing softwares. (photoshop or gimp) though photoshop is preferable

✓ Put in the finished texts in the finished cleaned work.

✓ Submits finished products as a .zip or .rar file with the files as .psd.

✓ All speech bubbles must have texts with the Wild Word Fonts and have the SFX font be either similar of closely similar to the raws.

† Editors †

Checklist:

✓ Has experience with editing softwares. (photoshop or gimp) though photoshop is preferable

✓ Be able to both clean and typeset the raws provided (basically knows a lot about their softwares in order to do both things)

† Quality Checkers †

Checklist:

✓ Has experience with editing softwares. (photoshop or gimp)

✓ Must include credits page and recruitment page.

✓ Must know how to redraw.

✓ Submits finished products as a .zip or .rar file with the files as .jpg or .png

✓ Knows how to do most of the things. Proofread, in order to check the grammar, Edit, in order to fix things missed by the cleaners, typesetters, and the editors, before it is given to the readers.

Things to Consider before Joining:

❀ When applying, do use/give us a G+ account so we can add you to the private community, which can only be accessed by the staff.

❀ *This is new, once you apply here, head over to our newly made forum. The forum will probably be the most updated because EVERYTHING can literally be found there.

❀ Please keep in mind to hold onto your responsibilities as a staff member. When unavailable for an indefinite time, please drop a message to say so, don’t just disappear and go MIA (missing in action) completely.

Note:

For translators, there will be no test provided, since there’s nothing to test about, but for proofreaders, we have to test english proficiency, cleaners, we have to see how well you can clean and redraw, and typesetters, we have to check how you know your fonts. Well, not really a test.
