☼ Why are there some releases with watermarks?

The releases with watermarks are most probably the projects released under RGotE Scans, since we will not be putting any more watermarks on our projects, unless other wise provoked. From now on, we will only be putting watermarks if our projects are being abused. Such as having our credits removed when being shared and if anyone claims that they did the project while we can obviously see that it is ours. 

☼ Why do some of your projects have passwords different from the current one?

Those releases were made during the time when the scanlation was under RGotE Scans. You can access that by entering “rgotescans0914” in the password, as for the current, you can check our about page to see the password for our future releases 🙂

☼So, you guys will share your releases to the public?

Of course we will, that is our purpose. But please make sure to read the one above.

☼ How did you come up with the name Golden Shade Scans?

caxiahtic: “I am an avid reader, and I’m a huge fan of Richelle Mead and Andrea Cremer. I was thinking of a new name for the group and the books ‘The Golden Lily’ by Mead and ‘Nightshade’ by Cremer were sitting pretty on the shelf beside my desk, obviously saying “Hey, use us.” and I though Golden Shade was a pretty name, so I went with that XD”

☼ When is the next release for *name of project*?

We can’t make fixed release dates because well, we’re a group that doesn’t have enough man power to make consecutive releases, and we apologize for that.

☼ Do you accept joint projects?

Of course! Joint is actually a nice idea, since we don’t have enough people, we lack in some areas, and with a joint project, we will be able to releases projects faster 🙂 Also, for the person who asked for the joint, do register at our forum here and PM me your name so that I can change you forum permissions so you can see what’s going on with our joint project 🙂

☼ Will you continue to release projects even when they’re licensed?

We’d love to, but no.

☼ Is it possible to join you?

Of course! Just check our recruiting page and just send it your necessary info there 🙂

☼ Do you accept requests?

We’d have to run through it first before we make any decisions.  But do keep this in mind:

• Before you send your request to us, please make sure that it is available. It can either be dropped by another group already, or it’s not taken. But if you see someone is still releasing chapters, please don’t send it to us.
• If you have the scans, then we can negotiate with you. If they are your raws, please tell us and we will put your name in our credits page, if they’re not your raws and you took it from another website, please tell us who the scanner/uploader is and we’ll credit both you and the scanner.
• We’ll have to see if it’s interesting though. Teehee~
• If you checked the points above and the project is ok, send your request to goldenshadescans@gmail.com with the title ‘Request’ so that we don’t mix up our mails.
