Golden Shade Scans is the new group name of the scanlation group Rising Gods of the East, or more commonly known as RGotE Scans.

In the past and with the former releases under the name RGotE Scans, we have only been releasing releases such as several doujinshi and a few manga titles categorized under one tag, which is yaoi. RGotE scans was formed to share even more yaoi titles to many readers out there, and that has been its goal since the group was formed. However, because of some issues, we had to change the name of the group, and because of that change, the founder, caxiahtic, decided that the group be one to do multi-genre releases, and so, RGotE Scans, now under the name Golden Shade Scans, will be releasing yaoi projects, as well as non-yaoi projects.

RGotE Scans was founded by caxiahtic, who is a huge fan of South Korean boyband, TVXQ, whose name is Rising Gods of the East translated in english, but despite the name change, the new RGotE Scans, Golden Shade Scans, will keep the same founding date, which is September 14, 2013.

Do take these into consideration:

> some of our may or may not contain watermarks, and if there are, please DON’T REMOVE THEM. If we see posts of our projects WITHOUT the watermarks, we will be putting down all the links and will be re-posting them with another password. As of April 16, 2014, our releases will have their watermarks removed. This rule is now gone, but once other rules are broken, I will have to take down all our links and renew them with another password.

> When sharing our projects, PLEASE USE OUR LINKS. DO NOT REUPLOAD.

> PLEASE DO NOT CLAIM OUR HARD WORKED PROJECTS AS YOUR OWN. What you are doing right now is not cool. Seriously. That is a project we worked hard on, and it’s totally not right to be stolen from us and to be claimed by others while removing all traces of the project being ours. If we see this, we will spring into action with regards to our projects only being available to be downloaded for an hour. I know this is quite strict, but we will only be doing this if we’ve been pushed too far. (＃｀д´)ﾉ

> Only one of our releases does not have a password, which is Fake Show. Please don’t abuse it for not having a password. From there on, our projects will have passwords. Our password for every release (for both yaoi and non-yaoi) is: gsscans0914.

Please remember that this is the only place where our password so if I will be sent questions about the project (I dunno anymore) I took into consideration the other people who wished to download our projects in their tablets/ipads, which didn’t allow them to view the password, so this time, it’s no longer a hover thing and is a text itself.
